Finished… and just in time too!

Well, my small dragonscale project is done, and just in time to put it under wraps too. I’ll be starting another one on Sunday. In the meantime, here it is… thrity-nine inches of DragonScale, one and a half inches wide… and a mail-order biker buckle.
We’ll probably replace the buckle Sunday, and add any length to the belt that we need at the same time. As far as I know, it should fit with a bit of overlap like you see here, but it may need a little more. We’ll have to see. Anyhow, here’s a bit of detail near the buckle…

All in all, I think it came out rather well for the first project I did for someone else. Next up, a small dragonscale bracer for my other son – by request. Then, it’s back to the haubergeon!
