Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?

I think this explains last November quite well…
I was just watching a commercial for a new program starring Jay Leno. He was doing one of those “man on the street” type of bits and he asked a woman “Who lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue?”
“I have no idea” was her reply.
Jay then asked her “Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?”
“Spongebob” she shot back almost instantly.
When people who are (presumably) of voting age can recognize a cartoon character on a children’s program faster than they can recognize the address of our Commander In Chief, I think we’re in trouble. But then, the last eleven weeks have pretty much confirmed that fear anyway.

 | I think the IQ of Americans has dropped dramticly in the last 20 years. Our children don't know how to read, write, add, subtract,... We have lost all our critical thinking skills. We know what to think but now how to think. Good thing the government has come along and filled in all the answers for us. |

 | The world makes much more sense when you realize most people are stupid. |
