“Our God given unalienable rights are given to us all as individuals. They tell us what me may do for ourselves, and they are the embodiment of liberty.
The so-called rights that government gives to some of us are parcelled out to select groups as classes. They tell us what one class of people may require another to do for them, and they are the very essence of slavery.”— Perri Nelson, February 9, 2010

two eagles and a duck

A visitor to the site sent me the following information in e-mail regarding a recent posting here. I always want to give credit where it is due, and now, thanks to Peter Czukor I can.
Perri,
If you'd like to credit the photographer of the eagles diving at the duck at Lake Tapps, it would appear that credit goes to Gary Wheeler.
Blog is at http://10weatherpics.blogspot.com/2009/03/eagle-combat-over-lake-tapps.html.
It's sad that the people who originally emailed the story and photos, appropriated so much of the original text and still saw fit to drop the name of the originator.
Peter Czukor, San Francisco
Thanks Peter!
