“Our God given unalienable rights are given to us all as individuals. They tell us what me may do for ourselves, and they are the embodiment of liberty.
The so-called rights that government gives to some of us are parcelled out to select groups as classes. They tell us what one class of people may require another to do for them, and they are the very essence of slavery.”— Perri Nelson, February 9, 2010

White stuff on the ground

Normally, snow happens here once a year. We've done a little better than that this year. Temperatures have been hovering around freezing for the last couple of days, and this is what I saw this morning when I managed to pump enough caffeine into my system to notice my surroundings.
It wasn't a lot of snow, maybe a quarter inch or so that stayed on the ground. I guess I'll have to brush it off the car and wear a coat on the way to the doctor's office this morning.
At least it's not pouring. I almost thought of filing this under “global warming.” Most of you would get it, but the people attracted to the tag might not.
