Happy birthday to the United States Constitution

On this day, two hundred twenty one ears ago, the United States Constitution was signed.
Done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven and of the Independence of the United States of America the Twelfth In witness whereof We have hereunto subscribed our Names,

And, on a minor side note — On this day, forty nine years ago, I was brought into the world. I shudder to think how crusty and moldy I would be if I had shared the remainder of those two hundred twenty one years with my favorite document.
