Broadband keeps getting better

A little over a year ago I ran across and blogged about the Speedtest.net site. This site has a cool little application that tests the download and upload speed of your Internet connection. After receiving email from my ISP telling me that upload speeds were now twice as fast, I decided to test my connection again.

There's been a significant improvement. But not in upload speeds. Here are my test results from last year…

As you can see there's been a significant improvement. But somehow I don't think my upload speeds are twice as fast. Do you?

Yours is much better than my DSL connection via Sprint. Oh well. It's the only choice I got. My results: 1460 kb/s download 371 kb/s upload
