So much for "perfection"

Y E S !!

All of the hoopla and fluff about the "road to perfection" turned out to be just so much hot air. For the last five weeks I have so wanted to see the New England Patriots get beaten, and it couldn't be any sweeter than to see Tom Brady knocked onto his backside and then turn the ball over on downs, fourth-and-twenty with one second left in the game, down to the New York Giants 17-14.

I've never been so happy to see media money so horribly wasted as the money that went into the "road to perfection" marketing campaign.

There's no doubt that the New England Patriots had an outstanding year, undefeated through the regular season and through the playoffs. They played well, but no mortal is "perfect", and it was sickening to see them treated as infallible.

The Giants really proved they wanted to win this game. They won it. They truly are the best in the world tonight.

There is much rejoicing in the Nelson household tonight.

Did anyone else notice how the Patriot's coach was off the field before the final play of the game? Now there's a good sport for you… NOT!
