“Our God given unalienable rights are given to us all as individuals. They tell us what me may do for ourselves, and they are the embodiment of liberty.
The so-called rights that government gives to some of us are parcelled out to select groups as classes. They tell us what one class of people may require another to do for them, and they are the very essence of slavery.”— Perri Nelson, February 9, 2010

I'm back (again)

In case any of you are still interested in my ramblings, I'm back. I've been in the hospital for a while where the issue was in a bit of doubt.
It seems that a week and a half ago I fell ill with a massive sinus infection, which led to nausea and an inability to eat. Since I wasn't eating, I got stupid and stopped taking my diabetes medications. I developed Diabetic Keto-Acidosis and found myself in Urgent Care last Friday night. After a few hours and three liters of IV fluids I was released, and told if I wasn't better the next day to go to the emergency room.
Well, I seemed better. Until Saturday night. At about 3:00 AM I started vomiting regularly about once every hour to hour and a half, and ended up in the emergency room on Sunday. From there it was straight to intensive care. I didn't leave the ICU until Tuesday afternoon, and was finally released from the Hospital at about 6:00PM tonight.
Blogging will be light for a while, but I'm back.
