For those we lost, We will not forget 09/11/2001 “Our God given unalienable rights are given to us all as individuals. They tell us what me may do for ourselves, and they are the embodiment of liberty. The so-called rights that government gives to some of us are parcelled out to select groups as classes. They tell us what one class of people may require another to do for them, and they are the very essence of slavery.”

Another blog bites the dust

Layla has killed her blog “The Hill Chronicles.” Trying to hit it returns a DNS error. She says she's going to create a new blog focusing on spiritual and moral issues that will be hosted on a free Wordpress site. I'm looking forward to the new blog when it comes out.

In the meantime, I'm going to miss The Hill Chronicles. Another fine site taken down.  One more small defeat for conservative opinion.

[Update: The new blog is up. It isn't going to be a political blog, but even so, go have a visit and make a note of the address. The Moral Compass -- http://thenewmoralcompass.wordpress.com/]

Hey Perri thank God we will not be jailed for killing our own blogs. I thought I would do it before the ObamaNation does. It is not a loss. I am going on to better things and like you, there are the intangibles in this life that are so much more important that we can change and place our faith in - like God. Because you know what, these political parties will not change - they are going lower and lower. Also, I do fear our First Amendment rights are in jeopardy. So, if I am going to be killed for my freedoms one day I would rather die for my Lord than any political blog.

Thank you for the kind plug. You are a real dear.

I will be posting something wildly different tonight for tomorrow. I think you will be pleasantly surprised! :)

I understand Layla's frustration and decision to turn in a different direction.

As for me, it's taken over two full weeks for me to get my blogging moxie back. The November 4th results were that depressing as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks for the heads up. I had some time to simply 'surf' and revisit sites I have been too short of time to do in a while. Got the error and just assumed the site was down for a bit and would return later.

Ditto on the anticipation.
