John McCain and the death of talk radio

Rush, Sean, and Mark all had something to say about it over the last few days. Apparently the "drive-bys" were saying that if John McCain won the Florida Primaries it would spell the death knell of talk radio.
Well, as I understand it, John McCain won. Somehow though I don't think that says too much about talk radio. It does speak somewhat negatively for the Republican voters in Florida though. It doesn't surprise me much either. He does seem to attract a following among older voters (retirees) for some reason.
I couldn't stand Senator McCain when he ran for President in 2000. I nearly had a serious discussion with my in-laws about it. It seems that as retirees and life-long Democrats (we are on the left-coast after all) he was by far their favorite Republican.
John McCain is no conservative. He can't even legitimately be called a neo-conservative. He's a liberal with a thin veneer of Republicanism. He's all for bigger government, higher taxes, and more restrictive regulations on what you can do with the fruits of your labors. He's for cradle-to-grave socialism.
He's known to disdain the first amendment to the Constitution, as well as just about everything to be found in Article II of the Constitution. That is, unless it applies to himself.
The media darling, this maverick Republican (mass-media code for "RINO") is known to consort with drunks and philanderers in his bid for power. Why one of the co-authors of one of his recent attempts at a legislative end-run around American sovereignty is even suspected of leaving an innocent woman to drown after driving his car into a river.
This is not the man we want as our President, the maverick Republican who will only marginally look better than the worst that the Democrats have to offer. I'd almost rather vote for Hillary than McCain, except then we'd have an accused rapist as co-president. Now that's an interesting way to try to get around the twenty-second amendment, isn't it.
No, John McCain's victory in Florida won't spell the death knell of talk radio. Instead it may inspire talk radio to new heights. That, and give a bad name to orange juice. Oh wait — a former football player named Simpson already did that.

McCain IMO is worse then Hillary because everyone already hates her and it becomes a rallying point on which to bring conservative agendas to the floor of congress.
McCain with his wishy washy republicanism may actually be able to accomplish what Hillary would try. The net result of President McCain would be far worse then that of Madam Hillary.
