For those we lost, We will not forget 09/11/2001 “The task of statesmanship has always been the re-definition of these rights in terms of a changing and growing social order.”
— Franklin D. Roosevelt (Commonwealth Club Address, 1932)

“Roosevelt was wrong! The principles laid down in the Declaration of Independence are the principles of individual liberty. Our unalienable rights, given to us by God are given to us as individuals. Our rights do not come from society or the government, and they cannot be redefined by politicians. The nature of these rights carries with it the implication of individual responsibility, without which we surrender them.”

This is it!

The last day before I head for Tennessee for over a week of fun in the heat. The last forecast I looked at showed today being hot (97°) and sunny.

I've got about 16 hours of work to pack into an 8 hour day today too. Same thing as yesterday.

I say that we should respect Islam and the Quran in the same proportion and degree as Islam respects other religions and religious Holy books; that is to say, not at all.

Mark My Words trackbacked with "Time travel has actually occurred"

Apparently George Bush recently traveled back to 1998. Then again, it may have been Dick Halliburton Cheney. What else can explain NASA revising the U.S. temperature for that year downward?

Conservative Cat trackbacked with "A Cold Truth"

I'm a skeptic by trade, and usually, when I figure something out, there's this incredible AHA feeling. Sometimes, however, the truth leaves you cold. According to the vet, a mysterious illness had been hitting older cats for months before the...

Mark My Words trackbacked with "NYTimes blogger panders to his readers"

Apparently he thinks his readers are terrorists, or at the very least, terrorist wannabe's. It's rather sad that someone takes so much narcissistic consideration of their intellectual frolicking that they ...
