Father's day weekend is coming up. I've got a nice quite weekend at home planned. We'll see what the family has planned. There are a few things I want to get done around the yard though, including a little bit of fence repair.
For me, it's going to be a three day weekend. I've got Monday off, so I will probably continue the work I was doing on the site code. There's some code refactoring I've been meaning to do, so I'm going to start working on that. Part of that will let me do the switchover to the OpenID system for authentication.
It will also let me put together a tool to backup the database and site content. Brinkster maintains a good backup already, but I'm seriously considering switching platforms from ASP.NET 1.1 to ASP.NET 2.0. That won't require a change in providers, but it will mean everything has to be moved to another server. If the code switch doesn't work out the way it should I could have a non-functional site, so I want a local backup copy to work from.
