Thanks to the kindness of Bullwinkle I now have the ability to host my own videos. That means I am no longer dependent upon YouTube for video on this site.

So here's my race car on its only pass down the track on May 12, 2007. The event that weekend was called due to rain.

It's a little more work than doing it with YouTube, but it works out quite nicely. At least I think it does.

Depending on the popularity of the videos, I may or may not have to host them in another location. As Bullwinkle reminded me, every time someone views a video hosted on my site, it's going to use my bandwidth instead of YouTube's.

That's something to consider I guess. If I need to, I can always find a provider that will sell me more bandwidth. I'm not too worried yet, but we'll see if videos become popular on this site or not.
