Fraud at Wikipedia

I've commented occasionally that I don't really trust Wikipedia's editing process. I've found lots of examples of bias in some of their editing, and also a lot of "puff pieces" about politicians that appear to have been written by PR flacks.
Incidents like this one don't really inspire me with much confidence that the editors there are all they claim to be.

His claim to be protecting himself from the bad actors doesnt go very far in explaining the ridiculously puffed up resume. Wikipedia is convenient for non-controversial items, but one has to be very careful with contentious issues, especially those currently being fought over.
