For those we lost, We will not forget 09/11/2001 “Our God given unalienable rights are given to us all as individuals. They tell us what me may do for ourselves, and they are the embodiment of liberty. The so-called rights that government gives to some of us are parcelled out to select groups as classes. They tell us what one class of people may require another to do for them, and they are the very essence of slavery.”

Child Care

Being a parent can be a chore sometimes. There are times when I wish I wasn't a parent.

Then again, there are times when I'm glad I am a parent. One of the best feelings in the world is to see your children do well.

If you're a parent, I'm sure you know what I mean. If you're not, you might still know, but somehow I doubt it. Having kids can be a real education.

I had a lot to learn when I became a parent. I suspect that we all do.

I look forward to the education of my step-son and his girlfriend. Not with glee, but with nervous anticipation, and a little anxiety as well.

In a few months I'm going to be a grandparent.

I wonder how the two experiences will compare?
