Heceta Head

Rennaisance Blogger has a couple of nice shots of the sea, including one of the Heceta Head lighthouse on the Oregon Coast on his blog this week. Seeing it reminded me of a few trips I've made out that way, so I figured I'd share one of the pictures I took there. It's of the same lighthouse...
This shot was taken from a turnout just past the Sea Lion caves on Highway 101.

So you got a bit closer and a clearer day. I took mine from the Sea Lion caves...happened to look up and between the fog and the waves just saw a good shot. We loved driving up the Oregon coast that year...we froze in the middle of August!
