Human Rights Watch Hypocrisy

A rusty butter knife dipped in pork grease should be used to slowly dismember this man. It won't happen that way, but it should. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, confessed to killing Daniel Pearl on Saturday.

WASHINGTON — Suspected 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed confessed to the beheading of American journalist Daniel Pearl and a central role in 30 other attacks and plots in the U.S. and worldwide that killed thousands of victims, said a revised transcript released today by the U.S. military.

"Suspected 9/11 mastermind"? How about confessed 9/11 mastermind.

"I decapitated with my blessed right hand the head of the American Jew, Daniel Pearl, in the city of Karachi, Pakistan," Mohammed is quoted as saying in a transcript of a military hearing at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, released by the Pentagon.

"For those who would like to confirm, there are pictures of me on the Internet holding his head," he added.

Remember that. There are pictures of him having done this.

"I was responsible for the 9/11 operation from A to Z," Mohammed said in a statement read Saturday during a Combatant Status Review Tribunal at the U.S. detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Mohammed's confession was read by a member of the U.S. military who is serving as his personal representative.

I think that ought to remove any "suspicion" about his responsibility.

The transcripts refer to a claim by Mohammed that he was tortured by the CIA, although he said he was not under duress at Guantanamo when he confessed to his role in the attacks. The CIA has said its interrogation practices are legal, and it does not use torture.

"He said he was not under duress at Guantanamo when he confessed".

Kenneth Roth, executive director of Human Rights Watch, questioned the legality of the closed-door sessions and whether the confession was actually the result of torture.

"We won't know that unless there is an independent hearing," he said. "We need to know if this purported confession would be enough to convict him at a fair trial or would it have to be suppressed as the fruit of torture?"

Sympathy for a confessed mass murderer. Sympathy for a man that leaves evidence of his crimes available on the Internet for all to see.

Khalid Sheik Mohammed is a mass murderer. He's a terrorist. He's proud of what he's done. He's responsible for the murder of women and children.

Apparently "Human Rights Watch" isn't interested in the rights of his victims. They're not interested in the victims God given rights to "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness". No, they're worried about whether the evil beast that took those rights away was subjected to mental pain and anguish. Never mind the pain and anguish of his victims and their families.

Khalid Sheik Mohammed gave up his human rights when he committed his crimes. He should be put down like the animal he is.

Kenneth Roth should be ashamed of himself.

Had some time to cruise the blogosphere and check a few news sites today. I am glad to see by my unscientific personal survey, it appears that KSM is at least getting more of the appropriate attention his sorry ass deserves as opposed to the slithery fringe wackos typical appeal for mercy on behalf of a bloodless thug.
