For those we lost, We will not forget 09/11/2001 “The task of statesmanship has always been the re-definition of these rights in terms of a changing and growing social order.”
— Franklin D. Roosevelt (Commonwealth Club Address, 1932)

“Roosevelt was wrong! The principles laid down in the Declaration of Independence are the principles of individual liberty. Our unalienable rights, given to us by God are given to us as individuals. Our rights do not come from society or the government, and they cannot be redefined by politicians. The nature of these rights carries with it the implication of individual responsibility, without which we surrender them.”

A couple of questions...

Now that Al Gore has won an Oscar for his science fiction filmmaking, how long do you think it will be before he announces his candidacy for President of the United States?

Do you think this improves his chances of winning the Nobel Peace Prize?

Will he team up with Michael Moore to do a documentary on the patriotism of the Democrats?

Will he sing backup for the Dixie Chicks?

How long will it be before he demands that the naysayers at the IPCC correct their erroneous report and increase sea levels by 18 and a half feet?

Now that Microsoft is facing a huge judgement for patent infringement on MP3 technology in Windows Media Player, how long do you think it will be before Mr. Gore starts demanding royalties from bloggers for their use of the Internet?

It would not surprise me one bit if Al Gore jumped into this race. If I am not mistaken, didn't JFK enter the race a mere 10 months before the election and, of course, win? It is probably only a matter of time. Keep up the good work!
