For those we lost, We will not forget 09/11/2001 “Our God given unalienable rights are given to us all as individuals. They tell us what me may do for ourselves, and they are the embodiment of liberty. The so-called rights that government gives to some of us are parcelled out to select groups as classes. They tell us what one class of people may require another to do for them, and they are the very essence of slavery.”

Futility

I've posted my resignation from one of the group blogs I participate in here. I think that NW Bloggers is a fine blog and that for the most part the content there is pretty good. I'll miss being a contributor there.

Even so, I've grown tired of the personal attacks and sheer derangement from one of the contributors. That's why I left. It's pointless to continue arguing with someone like that.

I guess I'll just hang out here and preach to the choir. *sigh*

At least my frustration level will be reduced by a little bit that way.

Update: My resignation wasn't accepted. That doesn't change the way I feel about things there. Karl has left a few postings that continue to demonstrate that the respect I hold for him is not misplaced.

In the meantime I've decided that I will no longer post political content there. Instead I'll post photographs and video of the things that I love about the Pacific Northwest and about our country in general. I'll save my political postings for here and for the comment threads of other blogs.

Happens to all of us occasionally...

It does happen. It really isn't worth beating your head against a wall and getting your blood pressure up.
