Haniyeh, Abbas agree to defuse tensions in Gaza after six die - Another Hamas - Fatah cease-fire.
Abbas slams 'fake' peace moves as IDF kills four in Ramallah raid - It's blame Israel time again as Israel moves to arrest al-Aqsa Martyr's Brigade.
So which peace moves are really fake? Hamas and Fatah have been fighting each other, but they still keep kidnapping each other's people.
Meanwhile, there's a "truce" between Israel and Hamas and Fatah in Gaza, but the al-Aqsa Martyr's Brigade, together with Islamic Jihad have been trying to provoke attacks by Israel for over a week. Israel tries to arrest one of the perpetrators, and gunfights break out. So naturally it's the Israeli's fault.
Senator Reid and Speaker Pelosi promised a new era of cooperation after years of partisan passion and gridlock. I guess cooperation and "bipartisanship" have a special meaning to Democrats just like "cease-fire" does to terrorists. Apparently cooperation and bipartisanship are defined as keeping the other party from being able to read or debate upon legislation or to introduce alternatives.
Yeah, that sounds about right. I think I've noted that when Republicans are in power "bipartisanship" means "minority rules". Now when Democrats are in power it means suppressing the minority.
Remember last week in the New York Times how the Islamists in Somalia were defeated? Back then I told you how the Times was practically mourning the defeat of the "grassroots" movement, and praising the Islamists for bringing in peace and "order".
I said then that it looked like an echo of Iraq. Now it's starting to sound like it again. And naturally, the Times is misty-eyed over how orderly things were under the Islamists:
Just days after Ethiopian-led troops helped rout once powerful Islamist forces in Somalia and install a new government in the capital, security seemed to be unraveling across the country.
The violence is surging on two fronts: antigovernment attacks and increased banditry, both of which were virtually unheard of during the Islamists’ short-lived reign.
Here, let me wipe your shoes off, I didn't mean to leave my lunch all over them. Oh, and let me clean up the rug before that stains.

I am 100% confident that with the upcoming Congressional and Senatorial sessions and the fact that both houses now are in the hands of the Democrats that the American people will see why they voted the Republicans into office in the first place.
