For those we lost, We will not forget 09/11/2001 “The task of statesmanship has always been the re-definition of these rights in terms of a changing and growing social order.”
— Franklin D. Roosevelt (Commonwealth Club Address, 1932)

“Roosevelt was wrong! The principles laid down in the Declaration of Independence are the principles of individual liberty. Our unalienable rights, given to us by God are given to us as individuals. Our rights do not come from society or the government, and they cannot be redefined by politicians. The nature of these rights carries with it the implication of individual responsibility, without which we surrender them.”

Socialist Terrorism?

By now you've heard about the bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Greece. What's really interesting about the U.S. Embassy bombing is who's to blame. A group called "Revolutionary Struggle" has claimed responsibility for the bombing. From  The Olympian:

ATHENS, Greece - Greek authorities blamed domestic militant groups Friday for the early morning attack on the U.S. Embassy.

...

Police are examining the authenticity of two calls claiming responsibility from the group Revolutionary Struggle, which has carried out six bombings since 2003. The shadowy group has criticized the United States in past statements, citing treatment of prisoners at the U.S. military detention center in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

So who is "Revolutionary Struggle"? Well, they're not Islamic Extremists. No, they're a bunch of socialists, or maybe even anarchists. The same political philosophies that drive the left in the U.S. today.

The same political philosophies that drive groups like International A.N.S.W.E.R. and other groups that have been against the war on terror. That's right, the anti-war crowd shares political philosophies with the latest breed of terrorists to strike out against our country.

Is anyone surprised?

Sadly, I'm not surprised at all.  I'm actually waiting for more socialist activism here.  There is no doubt in my mind that in the near future we'll see more terrorist attacks from civilian groups within the United States.

It's only a matter of time.
